CHRISTMAS PARTY IDEAS?
Hi Funbox Moms!
Christmas is around the corner and I was thinking we needed to get our CHristmas party planned. We could invited the whole family and put on a little show for them, have potluck dinner and a gift exchange for the kiddos, maybe earlier in the month December so that we dont interfere with our individual family and ward parties. Here are a few things that I thought we could divide up just let me know which area you would like to head. THanks so much
- We need to secure a date- any ideas?
1. Food/Menu
2. Decorations
3. Activities/ games at party
4. Numbers for the party
5. Service project for december not necessarily for the party
Let me know what you think, and what you would like to add in or take away.
Thank you ladies!

Belated Review of the week at Ms. Julie's House
Sorry I didn't update the Blog for my week, until now. We focused on the letter F, for fish. I made some cards with pictures of things that start with F, such as Fish, Fox, Flower etc.... I then made a fishing pole out of a lg. Popsicle stick some ribbon and a clothespin (I left this in the box for future use, if you are interested). I let the kids take turn fishing for the cards and we talked about each one, emphasizing the F sound on each one. They absolutely LOVED fishing!!!! For our craft we made mosaic tissue paper fish and attached them to their own little fishing pole. For our snack time we played a little game of "Don't Eat Pete!" using goldfish crackers. It took them a little time to understand how to play but once they got it they didn't want to stop.
The next day we focused on the shape Octagon. we watched a classic sesame street clip on the octagon shape. I made a sm. stop and go sign for each of them and we played red light green light. We talked about the octagon having 8 sides so for our craft we made an Octopus out of an octagon. They needed a little extra help with this craft so I let the kids play outside while I helped each one individually. For snack time we had PB&J sandwiches cut into an octagon shape. We then read books about fish until the moms came.
Sorry I have no pictures this week, but I took this one of the crafts we did (they turned out so cute!) ;)
