Sorry so late.....story of my life....
Wednesday was Circus Day/Blue Day! I had such a fun week with the kids! We really do have a good, fun, happy group of kids! We started out talking about "C" and the Circus! (oh yeah we did all the usual stuff! even sang the days of the week song 7 times....we sang it soft and loud - which they loved!) We played RING MASTER - I was the ring master and we talked about different animals we find and the circus and when I said the animals name they made the sound - so play that game with them at home - they had fun with that! Then we took a break and make blue water! The kids loved the blue water except they all wanted to drink it - hence the duct tape! Those that had blue on - thank you! The kids pointed out who was wearing blue and who wasn't!
Then we went back to the circus - and played a game - where I boiled something and had the kids feel inside the bag to see what it was....most of them said it felt like worms but our cute little Aisa - said "Aunty, that feels like doo doo!" I laughed so hard - I think Mili and Ray will get a kick out of that too! Kids say the darndest things! We also played a pop the balloon game. I blew up balloons and the kids had to figure out ways to pop them! Malachi was the first to pop his - the girls were the last - taking their sweet time - saying its too loud to pop, etc...so cute girls! But all the kids loved popping the balloons too (I have pictures of this - they are so cute...will get them up soon!)
We also watched the Circus episode of Backyardigans! (Backyardigans is my favorite cartoon!) It was a good day! I did notice that the kids love reading time! They are all so attentive when I would read a book!
Sorry it took so long to post! Good week at Alema's house! Thanks for all you do!!!!
